1. What is an Incoloy 825 Socket Weld Elbow?

An Incoloy 825 Socket Weld Elbow is a forged nickel-iron-chromium alloy fitting used to change the direction of piping through a compact socket weld connection. It is suitable for corrosive industrial and process piping applications.

Incoloy 825 is also known as Alloy 825 and is identified by UNS N08825 and W.Nr. 2.4858 . The alloy contains nickel, chromium, molybdenum, copper and titanium for enhanced corrosion resistance.

Incoloy 825 Socket Weld Elbows are commonly available in 45° and 90° configurations , allowing different piping direction changes and layout requirements.

These elbows can commonly be supplied from 1/8″ to 4″ NPS , subject to applicable standards and requirements. Typical pressure classes include Class 3000, Class 6000 and Class 9000 .
