1. What is a Hastelloy C22 Socket Weld Elbow?

A Hastelloy C22 Socket Weld Elbow is a forged nickel-alloy fitting manufactured from Hastelloy C22 / UNS N06022. It is used to change the direction of flow in small-bore piping systems through a socket weld connection.

The most common configurations are 45° and 90° Socket Weld Elbows . They can also be supplied in different pressure classes and customized dimensions according to project requirements.

These elbows are generally manufactured according to ASME B16.11 , with applicable material requirements specified under ASTM B366 / ASME SB366 .

Common pressure classes include Class 3000, Class 6000 and Class 9000 , where applicable to the required size, design and specification.
