1. What are Inconel Welding Electrodes?

Inconel Welding Electrodes are nickel-chromium based welding consumables used for joining, fabrication, repair and maintenance of compatible Inconel and other nickel-based alloys .

They can be selected for compatible materials such as Inconel 600, Inconel 601 and Inconel 625 , along with other nickel alloys, depending on the electrode classification and welding requirements.

Inconel Welding Electrodes are commonly used with SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), also known as Manual Metal Arc Welding . The appropriate current and polarity should be selected according to the electrode classification.

Common diameters include 2.5 mm, 3.2 mm, 4.0 mm and 5.0 mm . Custom sizes can also be supplied according to project or customer requirements.
