1. What are Inconel 625 Welding Electrodes?

Inconel 625 Welding Electrodes are nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy covered electrodes used for welding, repair, cladding and joining compatible Inconel 625 and other suitable materials.

The typical welding filler classification is ENiCrMo-3 , supplied according to applicable AWS, ASME and project requirements.

These electrodes are commonly used with Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) , also known as Manual Metal Arc Welding. Current type and polarity should follow the applicable electrode classification and welding procedure.

Common electrode diameters include 2.5 mm, 3.2 mm, 4.0 mm and 5.0 mm . Other sizes can be supplied according to customer or project requirements.

They provide excellent corrosion resistance, good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, strong weld deposits, good toughness and suitable elevated-temperature performance when the correct electrode and welding procedure are used.
